Wasting my time?
Of course not. But it sure feels like it. I played a pretty lengthy session, close to 2k hands at NL2, this graph will be pretty self explanatory. I win a few hands, I grind, and then I lose to some horrendous opponents. I hate losing a lot after grinding so much, it makes me feel like I did all the grinding for no reason, especially at NL2, where I could find an equal amount of money from winning a big pot under my couch. Day 2
Day two of my journey, I played 500 hands before dinner and got my roll back to $175, recovering somewhat from last night's -2BI session. I'm going to start another session soon..

Hey, Let's play poker again!
It's winter break, let's play some poker! I had $92.50 lying around on pokerstars so I decided to play some good old fashion, non-degen poker. Hopefully this blog will help me stay true to my words. For now, I'm going to play NL2, and put the 20 BI rule in affect. When I reach $200 I'll move up to NL5, and if I lose 5 BI I'll move back down to NL2 until I get back to $200. I'll up the BI quota as I move up the limits (hopefully), since I like to multi-table, and at higher limits I'm sure I won't be able to be on cruise control.
So, I started my quest to building my roll and after 5,849 hands at NL2, I'm up to around $179. At NL2 I'm getting 37.5bb/100, so you can see I'm doing very well. Hopefully I'll move up to NL5 after 1 to 3 more sessions. I'm currently grinding out a $50 bonus as well, which is taking a lot of time since I'm playing NL2. I'm going to hit the tables now, I'll update with some hands and what not, let the journey begin!
Edit: after about 500 hands, I dropped $10. I got some good hands, but hands like AA, and KK were cracked. My eye is starting to hurt, so I think it's time for me to go hit the sack.

A New approach
Well, after the tremendous donk beat I received, I tried to stay in and get some chips back, but I didn't really get anywhere. Although, as I'm writing this I just noticed I am up still up from that mini-session, heh, I guess that's a positive side. Anyway with my $46.92 I have in my BR, I have decided to go down a level and four table. I think I'll have a big edge against these players. Hopefully it will show.

My dilemma here is quite simple, if I was playing a person with an equal size stack, or around there, I would have obviously bet more on the flop, and turn. For example, re-raise on the flop to $2, and probably a $4 bet on the turn. However, with the other player with only a $5 stack, what do you do?

My dilemma here is quite simple, if I was playing a person with an equal size stack, or around there, I would have obviously bet more on the flop, and turn. For example, re-raise on the flop to $2, and probably a $4 bet on the turn. However, with the other player with only a $5 stack, what do you do?
